Located at the Hyatt Regency, Miyako is an excellent choice if you want to an authentic Japanese dining experience. You can eat in a traditional tatami room, kick off your shoes and sitting on the floor. There are also teppanyaki tables and a sushi bar. The nine-course Kaiseki menu is a steal at 350 AED as the food is super good. At Miyako, it is about the incredible just as much as the incredible flavour – plenty fab tasting insta worthy dishes to be tried!

Newcomer Netsu, located at the stunning setting of the recently opened Mandarin Oriental hotel in Jumeirah, is a welcome addition for all sushi lovers of Dubai. Chef, Ross Shonhan, has brought his Japanese culinary expertise to the region, and it is not to be missed. From sushi and sashimi, tempura and maki rolls to Wagyu short rib, there is something for everyone. Delicious!
