This style is comfortable, fits all body types and they make people around you relax! So, we will definitely allow this vibe into our closet.
We can opt to buy from the usual culprits from Isabel Marant, Etro, Chloe, Ulla Johnson, Zimmerman and these are brands who have refined their boho craft to the tiniest details but it’s always great to discover new brands and give new-comers a chance to compete with the staples.
Let’s start with Innika Choo, the Australian brand that became an Instagram sensation after launching a line of dresses and tops in 2016. It was inspired by her free- spirited lifestyle in Bali as well as vintage pieces she sourced online. The former stylist creates effortless, throw-on-and-go dresses that you would want to wear all summer long!
The dresses are loose and flowy, allowing maximum movement and coolness! They come in the chicest pastel colors, from pink, purple, yellow and green.
We also love Doen, a brand founded by the sisters Margaret and Katherine Kleveland in 2016 who are both driven to create beautiful accessible pieces. Staying true to their feminist roots, the duo aim to close the gender gap at every stage of the design process.
The collection is filled with nostalgic yet striking silhouettes and prints that evoke Bohemia from decades past filled with romantic dresses and blouses.

Finally is Charo Ruiz, one of our favorites here at Modern East. The designer moved to Ibiza as a model in the 70’s and was inspired to create a collection of cover ups that reflected the warmth, colors and textures of the island.
Her tops, skirts and kaftans are cut from natural fabrics like cotton and lace to make you feel breezy and effortless.
