Mark Your Calendars for Dubai Jazz Festival 2019

When: February 20 – 22

Where: Dubai Media City Amphitheatre

Running for its seventeenth consecutive year , the Dubai Jazz Festival has been one of the most popular and awaited music festivals in the Middle East since its start in 2003.

This year’s performing A-listers are Snow Patrol, Jamiroquai and Alicia Keys. Notably, the last time Alicia Keys and Snow Patrol were in the UAE was back in 2013. It’s been even longer for the funky Jamiroquai, who’s last performance in the region dates back to 2012…who knows when we’ll see them again!

Don’t be fooled by its name. The Dubai Jazz Festival celebrates a wide range of music styles like soul, rock and even some pop. They are renowned for bringing in some of the biggest names in the music industry such as John Legend, Mariah Carey, James Blunt, Enrique Iglesias and so many more.

Happening over 3 days, the festival features one headliner every evening, preceded by multiple main stage performances. Only announced a week before the event, the opening acts remain a mystery to look forward to up until the last minute.

So much more than just a music event, Dubai Jazz Festival is truly a social happening you must experience. Lively, filled with good vibes and of course good food, do yourself a favor and book your tickets now!

How much you pay is going to depend on the experience you’re after. Starting at 350 AED for a one night pass, the prices go right up to 3,000 AED for a 3-day VIP pass.

The organizers recommend you take public transport to the venue, so as to not face a parking issue. After all, with a capacity of 15,000 (!) people, you’d basically need an entire football stadium to park all those cars.
