Unless you’ve been sleeping under a rock, you already know that the Kattan sisters can do no wrong and have dropped another banging pillar into their Beauty line – this one is for the fragrance lovers. Kayali literally translates from Arabic to ‘my imagination’ and knowing Mona Kattan is such a fragrance expert, this is super exciting. The Kayali scents are handcrafted in France using top-notch ingredients, so you know you won’t be compromising on quality.
According to secret insider sources, it’s flying off the shelf like hotcakes (like, honestly does everything this woman creates turn to gold?)
Another beauty product made for the region by the region, it’s steeped in cultural influences and celebrates the art of layering. Coming in at AED450 it’s a perfect step to add to your routine.
There are four new Kayali babies to discover and after scouring the review section it seems the musk and citrus are the most popular. The bottles themselves are beautiful and are perfect for displaying proudly on your dressing table or bathroom for when guests come around.
Musk 12 boasts a combination of lotus flower, jasmine, musk, vanilla, sandalwood so can absolutely understand why this one is a Middle Eastern favorite. It’s powerful and floral with the influence of the jasmine and lotus, but has a creamy finish due to the full body blend of vanilla and sandalwood.

Citrus 08 is a delish combination of bergamot (my personal fave scent), pink grapefruit, blackcurrant, rhubarb, rose, musk, tonka and oakmoss which gives the scent a grounding and rounding it out with some earthiness.

Vanilla 28 is a delicate fragrance has the blend of Madagascan vanilla mixed with orchid, tonka absolute, amber, patchouli, musk and brown sugar. It is the perfect blend of a woody oriental gourmand fragrance. This smells like a hug from your hip younger sister.

Elixir 11 is probably the most romantic out of all the four scents. It opens with a warm red apple scent which comfortably rolls into a heart of a bunch of different types of roses. It’s followed up with jasmine sambac absolute which can be smelled with warm woody nods to patchouli and vanilla.

Tip: Remember to start with the heaviest scent first, then work your way finishing with the lightest scent.
Apparently, Huda and Mona Kayali’s favorite combo starts with Musk, then Vanilla and finishes with Elixir leaving you with a complex, rich and floral scent.
